Graham’s Port Wine Lodge welcomes all visitors. Upon arrival we offer a highly informative guided tour of the lodge, provided by a team of trained guides. Guided tours are available in English, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, and Spanish (upon request, also in Russian, Finnish and Dutch).

The tour includes a slide show and a visit through the working lodge area along corridors of casks and vats, in which Graham’s Port is patiently aged. Our guides are also well informed with reference to Graham’s rich history and heritage.

Of further interest is our small museum area, which includes some of the century-old tools that are still being used today during the grape harvest and in the cooperage.

Time allowing, visitors will be offered the opportunity to watch a highly informative short film (15 minutes) about the origins and fine art of producing and blending Graham’s Port. Currently 7 language versions are available (English, Portuguese, French, Spanish, German, Italian and Japanese), with a Russian version available soon.

At the end of the tour you will be able to sample three of Graham’s very fine Ports – Graham’s White Port, LBV and 10 year old Tawny.

All of these Ports, including a variety of many other Graham’s Ports are available for sale at the end of your visit.

The Lodge Shop and Wine Bar

Our Graham’s “Lodge Shop” offers a wide variety of Ports and table wines produced from other Symington Family Estates. A wide selection of different wine accessories, original gift items and memorabilia can also be found in the “Lodge Shop”.

For true Port and Douro Doc table wine lovers, the recently inaugurated Graham’s Wine Bar provides an excellent opportunity to taste some of our greatest Ports and Douro DOC wines by the glass in a relaxing atmosphere. All tastings are organized by a trained oenologist who will be glad to offer information about relevant facts and insights into the wines you choose to taste.

During the warm and busy spring and summer months the Graham’s lodge usually experiences an increased number of visitors. Pre-booking is advisable (see contacts below).

Getting there

Look out for the Graham’s free, air-conditioned shuttle service which will be operating this year between May and October. We offer rides from the river front up to the Graham’s Lodge, and back to the river side.

For those arriving by car, we have ample parking facilities with permanent security.

Catering Services

Besides the Visitors’ Centre experience, Graham’s also offers catering services for events.

We have two particular areas depending on the size and type of event required. The “Sala Graham’s” dining room can accommodate groups of any size between 50 and 160 people. For more intimate events our “Sala de Administração” dining room, seats between 18 – 22.

Both rooms afford spectacular views over the old city of Oporto and Gaia. This is the perfect spot to host all sorts of events, such as weddings, company meetings and group dinners.
