A wonderful LBV (Late Bottled Vintage) from an outstanding vintage year in the Douro.
 
About 
Our LBVs are matured in wood for five years prior to being bottled ready for drinking. The 2011 LBV can be enjoyed anytime and pairs wonderfully with dark chocolate desserts as well as semi-cured and cured cheeses like Cheddar and Manchego. 
 
Tasting 
Brimming with layers of dark fruits combined with floral notes and fresh mint. Full-bodied with ripe black fruit and cassis, leading to a long and firm finish. 
 
Serving 
Serve at room temperature. Once open enjoy within 4-6 weeks.
